Funding available for local charities and community groups

The Shrewsbury Carnival committee is once again inviting Shrewsbury charities and community groups to apply for a donation from money raised during the 2018 Shrewsbury Carnival & Show.

We are inviting those interested to apply for a share of the money collected during our parade on June 16th.

Those successful in securing a donation will be invited to a special presentation afternoon in September.

Local charities and groups who received a donation in 2017:

Members of the Shrewsbury Carnival Royalty also chose their own personal beneficiaries, with donations going to Turner Syndrome Support Society, Shropshire Cat Rescue, World Wildlife Fund, Severn Hospice and Shrewsbury Ark.

Application for donations in 2018 will open following our event in June.
