Shrewsbury Carnival Show
Beginning in Shrewsbury’s Quarry park at 10am the show side of our event provides a full programme of arena entertainment, trade and charity stalls and fun fair along with food from local producers.
Throughout the day Shrewsbury Carnival and Show will be raising money for local charities which are then invited to apply for a donation.
The Shrewsbury Carnival Parade is the highlight of the day with its colourful floats, lively procession, dance troupes, bands and music.
The parade leaves the Quarry at 2pm entering into Smithfield Road via Victoria Quay, turning right onto Castle Street into the town centre and around the one way system to Dogpole at which point the procession turns right into High Street and continues around the town centre and back into the Quarry.
