The big day has arrived… Shrewsbury Carnival & Show takes place today (Saturday 18 June 2016) with a fun filled day of entertainment in the Quarry and our parade around Shrewsbury town centre at 2pm.

From 10am in Shrewsbury’s Quarry park, there will be a full programme of arena entertainment on the Rybrook Shrewsbury stage, trade and charity stalls and a fantastic fun fair along with food from local producers.

At 2pm the parade with movie themed floats, walking groups, marching bands and dancers will take to the streets of the town centre.

Throughout the day Shrewsbury Carnival and Show will be raising money for local charities. Last year over £4000 was donated to local charities and voluntary organisations.
