There’s still time to enter this year’s Shrewsbury Carnival

There is still time to enter the 2014 Shrewsbury Carnival & Show on Saturday 14 June.

Details are currently being finalised for the annual event which brings a full day’s worth of entertainment to the quarry park and a parade around the town centre at 2pm.

Entertainment in the quarry begins from mid-morning with acts including:

– Hawkeye Falconry Display Team
– STFC Cheerleaders
– 2 Step Dance Academy
– Dog Show
– RAF Shawbury Helicopter
– Viv Kelly Dancers
– Zumba
– 28 (Shawbury) Squadron ATC
– 1119 (Shawbury) Squadron ATC

There will also be a host of trade and charity stalls.

The theme for this year is Carnival Goes Pop – Music of the Decades.
